Our foundation lies in Western Classical Guitar, a globally respected discipline that develops complete musicians, not just guitar players. Through a structured curriculum, students build strong technical skills while learning staff notation, ear training, rhythm, sight reading, tone production, and musical expression.
Although Classical Guitar is our core expertise, the same methodical approach is applied across our Acoustic Guitar and Electric Guitar programs, ensuring every student develops a solid musical foundation before exploring their preferred style.

Mayank Bhadra
Founder & Lead Guitar Instructor
Mayank Bhadra is the Founder and Lead Guitar Instructor at Guitarra Music Academy, with over 20 years of guitar playing experience and 15+ years of teaching students across India and abroad. Trained in Western Classical Guitar and an alumnus of Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, he is passionate about building strong musical foundations through technique, staff notation, ear training, and expressive performance.

Specialising in Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, and Electric Guitar, Mayank has trained students of all ages, from young beginners to working professionals and senior learners. His teaching philosophy goes beyond helping students play songs. He focuses on developing confident musicians through structured learning, personalised guidance, and internationally recognised standards, including preparation for Trinity College London Guitar Grade Exams.

Co-Founder & Brand Strategist
Barkha Chainani is the Co-Founder of Guitarra Music Academy and leads the academy's brand strategy, student experience, marketing, and digital growth. With over 12 years of experience in content marketing, branding, and digital communications, she brings a learner-first approach to every aspect of the academy beyond the classroom.

From designing the student journey and creating educational resources to developing the academy's digital learning platform, workshops, and online courses, Barkha ensures that every interaction reflects Guitarra's commitment to quality, clarity, and meaningful learning.
